FIFA World Cup third-place playoff finishers: Every Bronze Medal Winner in history since 1930.





England and France will battle for the bronze medal when they meet in the FIFA World Cup 2026 third-place playoff at Miami on Saturday.

England missed out on a place in the final after conceding two late goals in a 2-1 semifinal defeat to defending champion Argentina, ending its hopes of reaching a first World Cup final since 1966.

France, meanwhile, saw its bid for a third straight World Cup final come to an end after a 2-0 loss to Spain in the other semifinal.
