The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 will be a historic and revamped edition of the tournament, scheduled to take place from June 14 to July 13, 2025, across the United States.

 For the first time, the tournament will expand to 32 teams, adopting a World Cup-style format that mirrors the FIFA Men's World Cup, replacing the older 7-club knockout version.

This expanded structure is aimed at increasing global participation and competitiveness among the world’s top club teams. 

Matches will be played across 12 world-class stadiums in 11 major U.S. cities, showcasing America’s growing passion for soccer. The final will be held at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, a venue known for hosting major sporting events like the Super Bowl.

The qualification criteria take note of the past four seasons of the confederation’s relevant premier club competition (eg. Champions League, Copa Libertadores etc.) and grants points starting from the group stage of the tournament.
