The draw for the 2026 FIFA World Cup is complete, and the full schedule has now been confirmed. All match times below are listed in AEST.

A total of 48 teams will take part—42 nations already qualified, with six more to be decided in the March playoff window. These teams are divided into four groups of 12, forming the expanded group-stage format for 2026.





The group stage will run from June 12 to June 28, 2026 (AEST). The tournament will begin with Mexico vs South Africa at Mexico City’s iconic Estadio Azteca, a repeat of the opening fixture from the 2010 World Cup.

The knockout rounds start with the Round of 32 on June 29, building toward the World Cup Final on July 20 at MetLife Stadium in New York/New Jersey.
