The fourth-round draw for the 2026-27 Carabao Cup will take place on Wednesday, 16 September following the conclusion of Manchester United and Brighton & Hove Albion's third-round fixture (kick-off 20:00 BST).

The draw will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

Two weeks of third-round matches - starting on Tuesday, 8 September - will whittle the number of teams down to 16, with the final match being played on Thursday, 17 September between Manchester City and Norwich City.

Of the Premier League's 20 clubs, 19 will be participating in the third round, with Nottingham Forest having made a second-round exit after losing to Leeds United.

The EFL Cup (Carabao Cup for sponsorship reasons) features all 92 participating clubs from the top four tiers of English football: Premier League (20 clubs), Championship (24 clubs), League One (24), and League Two (24).

The Premier League clubs not involved in European cup competitions joined in the second round, and the remaining sides compete from the third round.
