Juventus 3-1 Udinese: Managerless Old Lady back to winning ways.
Juventus began life after Igor Tudor in style, earning a much-needed 3-1 victory over Udinese at the Allianz Stadium. Caretaker boss Massimo Brambilla guided the Bianconeri to their first win in over a month, with goals from Dusan Vlahovic, Federico Gatti, and Kenan Yildiz lifting the mood in Turin.
Vlahovic got Juventus off to a perfect start, converting a penalty in the fifth minute after being brought down by Saba Goglichidze. The Serbian striker looked lively throughout, while Filip Kostic — making his first Serie A start of the season — forced Udinese goalkeeper Maduka Okoye into several sharp saves.
Udinese found an equaliser just before halftime when Nicolò Zaniolo punished a defensive mistake, curling a precise left-footed shot into the bottom corner.
After the break, Juventus regrouped and regained control. Gatti restored the lead in the 67th minute with a clever header at the far post following a well-worked corner routine.
Youngster Kenan Yildiz, returning to the lineup, capped off the performance with a confident penalty deep into stoppage time after VAR overturned an initial foul given against him.
The win halts Juventus’ three-game losing streak and moves them back into contention near the top of Serie A. Udinese, meanwhile, were left ruing missed chances — particularly Bayo’s late header that skimmed just wide.
It wasn’t a flawless display, but for a team in transition and under temporary leadership, Juventus rediscovered their old fighting spirit when they needed it most.
