Inter Miami's Lionel Messi wins 2025 MLS Golden Boot, Past Winners List




Lionel Messi has won the 2025 MLS Golden Boot, scoring 29 goals and 19 assists for Inter Miami CF. He became the club’s first Golden Boot winner and the first Argentine to earn the honor since 2021. In Miami’s 5–2 win over Nashville, Messi scored three goals and one assist, finishing the season with 48 total goal contributions, just one shy of Carlos Vela’s record. Miami enter the 2025 MLS Cup Playoffs as the No. 3 seed, while Messi is also favored to win his second straight MLS MVP award.
