Toronto FC MLS Regular Season Schedule 2026: Dates, Times, Venue, TV
Major League Soccer (MLS) announced the complete 34-match 2026 regular-season schedule for Toronto FC today. The Reds will kick off their 20th MLS campaign on Saturday, February 21, facing FC Dallas at Toyota Stadium, with kickoff set for 8:30 p.m. ET. Toronto will then take on Canadian rivals Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Saturday, February 28, followed by a visit to FC Cincinnati on Sunday, March 8 at TQL Stadium.
Due to ongoing upgrades at BMO Field in preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, TFC will open the season with three consecutive road matches. The club will then return home for its 2026 Home Opener on March 14 against the New York Red Bulls. Kickoff time will be announced later.
Toronto will conclude its regular season on Saturday, November 7, visiting the 2025 Supporters’ Shield winners, Philadelphia Union, on Decision Day.
Early-season home matches will be played at the newly expanded, World Cup-ready BMO Field, which will feature approximately 17,000 temporary seats and 32 new suites, increasing capacity to 45,000 for the tournament. A nine-game homestand leading into the summer will support preparations for Canada’s opening World Cup match on June 12, followed by five additional tournament fixtures before the venue is returned to the club after FIFA’s deconstruction phase in early August.
To account for climate considerations, weekend home games in March, April, and May will feature afternoon kickoffs, with times to be announced. Toronto FC will also host two matches during the Canadian National Exhibition: against New York City FC on Saturday, August 29 at 7:30 p.m. ET, and against Chicago Fire on Saturday, September 5 at 7:30 p.m. ET. Ticket holders will receive complimentary admission to the CNE.
During the 2026 campaign, Toronto FC will play 25 matches on Saturdays, six on Wednesdays, and one each on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. The home schedule includes 12 Saturday matches and five Wednesday fixtures. TFC will face six Western Conference opponents this season: FC Dallas (February 21), Vancouver Whitecaps (February 28), Colorado Rapids (April 4), Austin FC (April 18), San Jose Earthquakes (May 2), and St. Louis CITY SC (September 19).
