On April 25, 2026, Manchester City defeated Southampton 2-1 in the semi-final at Wembley with a late comeback (goals from Jeremy Doku and Nico González).  This result sent City to the 2026 FA Cup final — a record fourth consecutive appearance in the final, something no English team has ever achieved before.  Pep Guardiola’s side are chasing an eighth FA Cup title and a domestic treble.
