Historic Three Opening Ceremonies
For the first time in World Cup history, the 2026 tournament will feature three separate opening ceremonies across the host nations:
Mexico – June 11 at Estadio Azteca (Mexico vs South Africa)
United States – June 12 at SoFi Stadium (USA vs Paraguay)
Canada – June 13 at BMO Field (Canada vs Bosnia and Herzegovina)
Each ceremony will last between 13 and 17 minutes and aim to showcase the unique identity of its host country while connecting to a shared continental celebration.
