Cristiano Ronaldo finally celebrated his first Saudi Pro League title with Al Nassr after scoring twice in a convincing 4-1 win over Damac FC on the final day of the season.

The victory secured Al Nassr’s 11th league crown — and their first since Ronaldo arrived in Saudi Arabia in January 2023. After several frustrating near-misses, the Portuguese superstar played a decisive role when it mattered most, helping his side finish two points clear of rivals Al Hilal.

The title race had taken a dramatic twist just days earlier when Al Nassr missed the chance to seal the championship following a late mistake by goalkeeper Bento in a tense draw with Al Hilal. Their confidence then suffered another blow after a shock defeat to Japan’s Gamba Osaka in the AFC Champions League Two final.

But with pressure mounting, Ronaldo delivered. Former Liverpool F.C. star Sadio Mané also got on the scoresheet, while João Félix featured in the attack as Al Nassr finally ended their long wait for domestic glory.
