Haaland Hurricane Hits Again! Norway Survive Senegal Thriller to Reach World Cup Knockouts

Erling Haaland delivered another unstoppable performance as Norway booked their place in the World Cup round of 32 after a thrilling 3-2 victory over Senegal.

The Manchester City superstar struck twice in the second half, adding to Marcus Pedersen’s first-half opener, as Norway survived a late Senegal fightback led by Ismaïla Sarr’s brace.

Norway started aggressively and finally broke through just before half-time when Pedersen punished a defensive mistake from Kalidou Koulibaly to fire home the opener.

Haaland had been quiet early on — even hitting the post before the break — but the striker exploded after half-time. Just three minutes into the second period, he raced onto Martin Ødegaard’s brilliant pass and smashed Norway’s second goal.

Senegal responded through Sarr, who pulled one back after a powerful run and finish, but Haaland had the final say moments later. Adjusting perfectly to Patrick Berg’s cross, he fired a stunning volley to restore Norway’s two-goal lead.

Senegal refused to give up, with Sarr scoring again deep into stoppage time to set up a dramatic finale. They pushed for a miracle equaliser, but Norway held firm to secure qualification.

Two goals. Another match-winning display. Haaland is turning Norway’s World Cup dream into reality — one strike at a time.
