Cristiano Ronaldo has done it again — and this time he has created a record nobody has ever achieved before.

The Portugal captain became the first player in history to score in SIX different FIFA World Cups as his stunning brace powered Portugal to a huge 5-0 victory over World Cup debutants Uzbekistan.

Ronaldo opened the madness in the 6th minute, smashing Joao Cancelo’s cross from the right with a brilliant low half-volley at the near post.

That goal didn’t just put Portugal ahead — it also made the 41-year-old Ronaldo the second-oldest player ever to score at a World Cup, only behind Cameroon legend Roger Milla, who scored at 42 against Russia in 1994.

After a disappointing 1-1 draw against DR Congo in their opening match, Portugal came back with a statement performance.

🔥 17th minute: Nuno Mendes shocked Uzbekistan with a direct low free-kick from 20 yards to make it 2-0.

Uzbekistan thought they had pulled one back when Aziz G’aniev fired a spectacular shot into the net, but the goal was ruled out after Abbosbek Fayzullaev’s foul on Cancelo.

Then came the Ronaldo moment…

🔥 39th minute: Bruno Fernandes won the ball in midfield and played a perfect pass through to Ronaldo. The Portugal superstar calmly finished into the bottom corner for his second goal of the night.

The collapse continued.

An own goal from goalkeeper Abduvohid Nematov after a corner made it 4-0, before substitute Rafael Leao smashed in the final blow to complete Portugal’s 5-0 destruction.

The win sent Portugal to the top of Group K, although Colombia can overtake them if they defeat DR Congo.

Meanwhile, Lionel Messi recently reached 18 World Cup goals with a double against Austria, becoming the tournament’s all-time top scorer. But Ronaldo’s achievement is different — Messi has scored in five of his six World Cups, while Ronaldo has now scored across all six tournaments he has played.
