The draw for Round Two of the Carabao Cup has been confirmed.

The Carabao Cup is regionalised until Round Three, with the draw for Rounds One and Two split into Northern and Southern sections, bringing Premier League sides including Chelsea and Tottenham into the competition.The second round remains regionalised and will be split into northern and southern sections.

Before the draw, 68 EFL clubs must first navigate the opening round, which runs from Thursday to Monday. Rochdale and Crawley Town already came through a preliminary round to reach this stage.

Key first-round ties include West Ham United against Portsmouth, the Devon derby between Plymouth Argyle and Exeter City, and Middlesbrough’s clash with Wrexham at the Riverside Stadium.

When is the Carabao Cup Second-Round Draw?

The second-round draw will be held on Monday 10 August 2026, live on Sky Sports Main Event during the build-up to Plymouth Argyle vs Exeter City — the final match of the first round. It is scheduled to take place at approximately 7:20pm BST.
