2026/27 UEFA Conference League Schedule: Dates, Draws, Format and Final

The 2026/27 UEFA Conference League is the sixth edition of the competition and the third under the current league-phase format. It began in early July 2026 and concludes with the final at Beşiktaş Park in Istanbul on 2 June 2027. All dates are subject to change.

How Qualifying Works?


All 36 teams in the league phase enter via the qualifying rounds — none qualify directly. Entry stage depends on association club coefficient rankings. All ties are played over two legs. The league phase is completed by winners of the Conference League play-offs and teams eliminated from the Europa League play-offs.

First qualifying round: 7–9 & 14–16 July 2026  

Second qualifying round: 21–23 & 28–30 July 2026  

Third qualifying round: 4–6 & 11–13 August 2026  

Play-offs: 20 & 26–27 August 2026

The league phase features 36 teams. Each side plays six matches.

The top eight teams advance directly to the round of 16. Teams finishing 9th–24th enter the knockout phase play-offs. The bottom 12 are eliminated.

When and Where is the 2027 Conference League Final?


The final will be played on Wednesday 2 June 2027 at Beşiktaş Park in Istanbul, Türkiye.
