Mark van Bommel, the new head coach of Belgium, has announced the 28-player squad for the Red Devils ahead of four UEFA Nations League matches against Italy, France and Türkiye.Several notable absences feature in the selection. Thibaut Courtois has requested to be excused from the Nations League fixtures to manage his appearances.

Jérémy Doku and Amadou Onana are missing through injury. Alexis Saelemaekers and Thomas Meunier were not called up, while Axel Witsel has retired from international football.

The squad includes four players yet to make their senior international debuts: Yari De Bock, Mike Benders, Martin Van de Voort and Keryan Saïbi. Belgium will begin their campaign against Italy on September 25, before facing France twice and Türkiye during the international break.
