Republic of Ireland Squad for UEFA Nations League 2026: Heimir Hallgrímsson Names 26-Man Roster.
Republic of Ireland head coach Heimir Hallgrímsson has named a 26-man squad for the upcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures.
The Boys in Green face four matches during the international window. Ireland will begin away against Kosovo in Pristina before travelling to Debrecen to face Israel. They will then return to Dublin to host Austria before facing Israel again in Bačka Topola, Serbia.
Captain Nathan Collins will miss all four matches through injury. His absence opens the door for Sheffield United centre-back Liam Kitching to receive his first senior call-up.
Watford winger Rocco Vata also returns to the squad for the first time since March 2025 after recovering from a long-term injury. Jack Moylan, Owen Elding and Tom Cannon have retained their places after impressing during the summer friendlies against Grenada, Qatar and Canada.
Cardiff City defender Joel Bagan also returns after previously withdrawing from the squad through injury.
