Argentina’s U-20 team secured their place in the World Cup final after a hard-fought 1–0 victory over Colombia at the National Stadium in Santiago.
The match was intense and evenly balanced in the first half, with both teams showing determination. In the second half, substitute Mateo Silvetti scored the decisive goal in the 71st minute after a brilliant solo run and assist from Gianluca Prestianni, the standout performer of the night.
Colombia’s hopes faded when Jhon RenterÃa was sent off late in the game, and Argentina held firm to secure the win.
This triumph sends Argentina to their first U-20 World Cup final in 18 years, where they will compete for their seventh title. They remain unbeaten, with six wins in six matches under coach Diego Placente.
