Will Lamine Yamal Be Fit for El Clásico?.

Barcelona’s medical staff are optimistic that Lamine Yamal will return in time for the club’s biggest fixture of the season against Real Madrid.

The 18-year-old winger recently suffered a setback with pubic discomfort, the same problem that sidelined him for three weeks in September. After making his comeback, he was forced off again following the clash with PSG, with the club confirming he will miss two to three weeks.

As a result, Yamal is ruled out of this weekend’s La Liga match against Sevilla, as well as Spain’s upcoming international fixtures. He is also not expected to be ready for Barcelona’s first league game after the break against Girona on October 18th.

According to reports, the current recovery plan is to ease him back for Barcelona’s Champions League tie against Olympiakos on October 21st. That would leave him available for El Clásico at the Santiago Bernabéu on October 26th, a match the club is determined he will not miss.
