Vladimir Petković unveiled the Algeria Official squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, All 26-Roster, Full player List
Algeria has officially announced its 26-player squad, plus one reserve player, for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. This marks the fifth time the nation has qualified for football’s biggest tournament. Their most successful campaign came in 2014, when they reached the knockout stage for the first time before being narrowly eliminated by eventual champions Germany after an unforgettable extra-time battle.
Head coach Vladimir Petković unveiled the final squad earlier today. Leading the team is captain Riyad Mahrez, Algeria’s talisman and one of the most influential players in the squad. The experienced winger has earned 113 caps and scored 38 goals for his country.
Another key figure is defender Aïssa Mandi of LOSC Lille, who holds the national record for appearances with 116 caps. The squad also features several other important players, including Mohamed Amoura (VfL Wolfsburg), Amine Gouiri (Marseille), Ramiz Zerrouki (FC Twente), Rayan Aït-Nouri (Manchester City), and Anis Hadj Moussa (Feyenoord), all of whom are expected to play significant roles in Algeria’s World Cup campaign.
