Morocco’s Preliminary 2026 FIFA World Cup Squad: Full Roster, All Player List

Morocco have officially stepped up their preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with several players already arriving at the Mohammed VI Complex as the race for final squad places begins.

Among the first group to report were Youssef Belamri, Mohamed Chibi, Oussama Tergaline, Othmane Maama, Sofiane Boufal, Ayoub El Kaabi and Ismail Sibari, as head coach Mohamed Ouahbi starts putting his plans into motion ahead of the tournament in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

The training camp, running from May 22 to May 26, is expected to play a major role in shaping Morocco’s final World Cup squad. Ouahbi named a 28-man preliminary roster earlier this week, but only the strongest performers will secure a place in the definitive squad set to be announced on May 26.

This will also be one of the first major tests of Ouahbi’s tactical vision since taking charge earlier this year. The new Morocco boss is aiming to implement an aggressive high-pressing style combined with quick attacking football during the intensive five-day camp in Maamoura.
